Botanical forms - Marta Konieczny
These at first glance exotic plants are nothing more than botanical forms that can be found in the wild Warsaw meadows. The painter, Marta Konieczny, draws her inspiration from there. Plants are for her intelligent organisms that have specialized in survival strategies, in the absence of the ability to escape from animal attacks, and more recently also against the ignorance of people.
The richness of shapes, textures and organic structures created by nature is for the artist a source from which she draws herself to create her own botanical beings and lands.
Marta Konieczny graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw where she lives and works.
She is the author of 11 individual exhibitions, she participated in many group exhibitions, among others in France, Qatar, Lithuania and Serbia.
