It is said that Japan is the oldest society in the world. In 25 years, a Japanese resident of Japan will be 65 years old. At the same time, the average life is 83 years - what to do with such a huge amount of time? How to learn to live in the autumn of life that lasts so long.

'Ageing Tokyo' by Japanese photographer Lee Chapman is a story of a long life, endless work and everyday life that must be fulfilled - regardless of age and health. Lee Chapman came to Japan in the early 90's. Originally, he intended to stay for only two years, but he never left. He lives and works in Tokyo, and it is this place that became the leading motif of his work.
