Rolled up sleeves of shirt, detached button .... it's amazing how much you can read from small elements of clothing. When the minutes and quarters of travel and return from work are unrelenting, the wardrobe of fellow passengers seems suddenly an inexhaustible source of inspiration. Forced into artificial proximity, we study nailing creases and spinning sleeves.

Italian photographer Louis de Belle came up with the idea of his "Cartography" series during his residency in New York - a city famous for, among others, from the developed public transport system. By focusing on the small details of the wardrobe of people accidentally met in the subway / train - the artist draws attention to the very act of traveling to the destination, which in many cases the journey to us and the enjoyment resulting from it.
