'Pictures are my feelings' - this simple manifesto accompanies the works of photographer Karen Jerzyk. Karen studied English Philology, but it was with photography that she decided to tie her professional future. She got her first camera from her parents when she graduated in 2003. However, it was not until 2009 that Karen decided to devote more attention to her passion
The photographer focused on photographing people, combining photography with another passion - movies. The stuff created by Jerzyk are strongly inspired by the iconic films of Stanley Kubrick and David Lynch. The artist takes inspiration from film surrealists, translating their works into the language of photography.
